Happy 4th of July

For the 4th we went over to Ken and Mary's to have a fish fry. We had fish, ribs, Chicken strips, hush puppies, fried biscuits, french fries, baked beans, coleslaw, and homemade ice cream for desert. It was all delicious. We dressed the girls alike because the blue dress Kennedi has on came with a matching dress for her doll, since Reagan is so tiny she fits in doll clothes.
How Cute!Kennedi waving her flags.
My sweet girls

Reagan barely fits in her car seat she is so small.

Reagan didn't really want her picture taken just then. That flash is too bright!

Reagan Ella Shelton is Here!

Snake in the Grass

So the other day we were playing outside and I saw a little green snake. I showed Kennedi and she actually wanted to touch it which surprised me because she usually is scared of everything including house flies. We threw some water on it to get it to move and it went into the grass and Kennedi says "Where is it? I can't see it" and I said it's blending in with the grass and she says "Miss Mom, that's called camouflage" Wow! what a big word for a 3 year old.

Flower Girl

So the other day we were out watering my herbs and flowers and one of Kennedi's favorite past times is picking flowers. She asked if we could pick some of the hydrangea's I said "yes we can cut some and put them in a vase." When we got in the house she said she wanted to dress-up like a bride and carry the flowers. She was so excited that I had to take some pictures.

Kennedi's Serious look

Mom, I'm a beautiful Bride

Of coarse we can't forget Layla(the dog that goes everywhere Kennedi goes)

Planting Wheat Grass for Easter

I decided that it would be fun to plant some wheat grass for Easter. I did this activity with my first graders to teach them about plants and what they need to grow and they always loved it. It is also so cute to decorate with. Kennedi had lots of fun putting the soil , the seeds, and watering it. We then had to put it in a dark place for a couple days until it sprouted then you set it in a sunny spot and watch it grow. Every morning she would get up and look at it and say "It's growing bigger Mom."

It started getting so big we even gave it a hair cut.

I just think it looks so cute in these tins.

Look how big and green it is.

Stop to Smell the Flowers

We went to take pictures at the daffodil field near our house. We weren't able to go last year because it was soo rainy and this year we went in between the rain. Kennedi loved running through the field and smelling the flowers. Lots of pictures because she is too cute and for Grandma and PaPa to see.

Hey, Look at me Miss Mom!

Tea Party

The two little princesses Cinderella and Belle(aka Ariel) decided to have a tea party. Phelan came and played for the day. We went to the park, painted, played with play-dough and had a tea party. They were really funny.
