It's a GIRL!

Keith, Kennedi and I went to the doctor to have my ultrasound and they told us it was a little girl. The whole time Kennedi has been saying that it's a little girl and I would tell her we don't know yet it might be a little boy. "NO, MOM your baby's a girl". Maybe she really did Know. Keith said he'll have to get more shot gun shells for when these two start dating. We are very excited everything looked great very healthy the girl looks like she's been working out inside my tummy because her little arms looked ripped. Kennedi was great at the doctors office I had prepped her on what was going to happen the doctor would put some jelly on my tummy, use a special wand to see the baby and she would be able to see it on a big TV. I think this really helped because she didn't freak out and when you asked her what were doing when we went to the doctors she could tell you step by step. We feel so blessed and grateful that we will have another sweet angel coming to our family.

Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day was spent doing our own things. Keith of course was skiing since it had snowed the night before and was snowing that day. I had scheduled a pedicure and scalp massage with my niece at her beauty school which was sooo nice. I loved getting pampered for a while. Kennedi played at home with pa pa and grandama chucky then when I got home we opened presents one from me and one from JaMA and then Keith brought his two girls roses. It was a fabulous day for all.

Happy Birthday to our Little Princess

Miss Kennedi turned 3 so we decided to have a little birthday party. We only invited two other kids because all the reading I did said not to overwhelm the kids and to only invite the number of kids as the child is old. It turned out pretty well. We went on a treasure hunt for their crowns and wands, they kissed a frog and last we played The Princess and the Pea then we ate cake and ice cream. As you can see Kennedi LOVES her cake and ice cream!

Kennedi's first ski adventure

So, we decided that it was time to take the wee-one skiing and get out of the smog of the city. It was a beautiful day not a cloud in the sky about 46 degrees, that's why Kennedi isn't wearing her coat. She was so excited to go, she kept asking when we were going skiing and what kind of snacks we would have. She was hilarious she said she needed a helmet, poles, and goggles. We managed to get her a helmet out of all her demands and had to explain that we didn't have goggles small enough to fit her and that she didn't need poles. She did enjoy playing with my poles. Keith was going to have her practice on this tiny hill that you just walk up but Kennedi would have nothing to do with that she was wanting to go on the big hill and take the chair lift up. So that is what we did she was very independent making her way through the gate of the chair lift and sitting with Keith very nicely. It was lots of to watch her. I think she got a good feel for skiing hopefully we'll be able to take her at least one more time. It was a happy day for all. A family that Ski's together stays together! ha ha

Wish Upon a Star

So, your daughter may be watching too much Cinderella when she says "Mom, I wish I had two stepsisters, a mean stepmother and two talking mice."

Snow Fun!
