Santa's Little Helpers

I had to take some pictures of the girls in their Santa hats and antlers. These are mostly for JaMa to see how cute and big her girls are getting. Kennedi Just loves Reagan she is constantly touching and taking such good care of her she loves being a big sister.

HO, HO, HO!
I liked Reagans cute smile here she is getting to be so much fun. She loves to read books, listen to music, blowing spit bubbles, playing with her crinkly blocks and books. Regan just discovered her feet a few weeks ago and loves to grab at them and suck her toes it is too cute. She is also starting to sit up on her own and rolls over. I really do enjoy this age when they really start to interact more with you. Don't ya just love the leggens?

Breakfast With Santa

At church we had breakfast with Santa we were 20 minutes late because the night before had been a late night at the Live Nativity and we were supposed to be there at 8:30 a.m. which was too early and we weren't really going to go but Kennedi woke up and said "when are going to have breakfast with Santa?" so we hurried as fast as you can with two little ones and made it just in time for pictures with Santa most of the food was gone but we were able to share a chocolate muffin Kennedi loved that. Both kids were really good no tears. Kennedi telling Santa that she wanted some sparkly cupcakes, skates and a princess castle, which was news to me accept the princess castle. On the way home we were asking Kennedi if she had fun and seeing Santa she said yes but he had stinky breath. Kids are so honest.

Live Nativity

Last weekend we went to the Live Nativity it was so neat, however it was one of the coldest nights that we've had so we bundled up really good. You parked and then they bused you up to the grounds were you were able to walk through one barn that had camels, sheep, donkeys, and cows, they let the kids pet some of the animals. They also had people dressed up in authentic dress weaving wool, measuring out beans, and making unleavened bread that you could sample. Then you went out and saw a bright star atop another barn (stable) and inside there you saw Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus there was such a peaceful nice feeling it just made you feel warm inside. When you left the stable they had hot coca waiting for you. It was really well done, I think it will be one of our new traditions. Steve, Melissa and there little ones all met us there. Kennedi loved going and asked if we could go see baby Jesus again tomorrow.

Princesses on Ice

Kennedi and I went to Disney's Princesses on Ice show. I thought she would like going since she is so into the princesses, so I went online and found tickets. After purchasing the tickets I was talking to a few people about it and they said that it wasn't very good and that you'll go once and never again. This made me a little nervous but I decided it would be our one time. Kennedi dressed up like Cinderella since on the advertisement it shows all the little girls in the audience dressed up and was so excited. Keith drove us so that we wouldn't have to worry about parking since it was a blustery cold snowy day. This worked out perfectly.
The show ended up being very good she loved seeing Aladdin, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Belle, Mulan, Little Mermaid, and the second half of the show they told the whole story of Cinderella. We had a fabulous time she kept asking when she was going to get to hug Cinderella and if we could go see it again. I would go again. Afterward we went out to eat at the Asian Star and I had my favorite pon pon chicken that tastes like candy. Kennedi liked using her chopsticks and actually could pick up her food (bread) with the chopsticks.

The Witch Hunt

We went to Gardner Village to see the witches. Every year they decorate it up with witches all over and you can go on a scavenger hunt to find all of them. Kennedi thought it was a blast, She dressed up as sleeping beauty. What a fun day to spend with my mom and girls.
What! There's a witch flying on a bike behind me?
Witches don't shake hands Withes have to Hug!

Halloween Fun

Happy Halloween from the sheltons! Kennedi was a peacock fairy and Reagan was the baby peacock. We had lots of fun trick-or-treating and seeing family and friends. It made for a long night. Here are a few pics.Aww! Baby peacock

Reagan fell fast asleep in her peacock bunting after just a few houses. I guess she was just warm and cozy.

Kennedi loved ringing the door bell.
This was at the church Halloween party that was earlier in the week. This is kennedi and her friend Jenna.
They had a pinata and Kennedi took a few good swings at it. I was suprised that she actually wanted to do it.

Peas & Carrots and Mashed Potatoes

Kennedi and I had fun making her kind of food! (Cupcakes) we found these cute cupcakes on another blog and thought they were tooo cute and wanted to make them also. Kennedi had fun frosting and decorating. The peas & carrots look good the mashed potatoes and gravy look OK your supposed to use carmel it looks more realistic instead of chocolate fudge but that was what I had on hand. The Peas are skittles and the carrots are starburst. Fun rainy day project.
